Best book(s) of August

The RTW topic for this week is (of course) the best book you’ve read this month. I’m afraid that I will have to list two. I’ll do them in order of length.

First is Araminta Spookie: My Haunted House by Angie Sage. It’s short, but extremely amusing, and I loved it.

Second is Happenstance Found by P.W. Catanese, which, as a person on Goodreads said, doesn’t have much action, but keeps you turning the pages. The characters are all so interesting (especially Lord Umber), and have some fascinating challenges. Where they live is pretty darn cool too.

Those are my selections for August. 🙂

Those books both look very cool.

They are very cool. One is something to read whenever you need a quick laugh, and the other is the sort of book you’d stay up at night to finish reading. Thanks for commenting! ^_^

Thanks for the recommendations. I haven’t heard of either of them yet, but I’m excited to check them out! 🙂
